A model for the full system was produced, and a silo lay out determined to suit future development. The ultimate staged on-farm storage system. The most economic dollars per tonne of storage and handling in the Optimum range.

A total of 13,000 tonnes of storage.

Stage one:

  • 1 x 600t Cyclone Silo

  • Optimum heavy duty unloading and sweep augers

  • Aeration

  • Sealed

  • Filled with swing away auger

  • Retro fitted 1000 t MFS silo with Optimum heavy duty unloading and sweep augers

  • Retro fitted 1000t MFS silo with full aeration floor

  • Optimum drag conveyor under three 250t Twister silos

 

Stage two:

  • 2 x 3000 tonne Cyclone Silos

  • 1 x 600 tonne Cyclone Silo

  • 300t/hr in-loading

  • 200t/hr out-loading

  • 30t drive over hopper

  • 2 x 400mm pit augers

  • Intake drag conveyors 300t/hr

  • 42m high bucket elevator and tower 300t/hr

  • Double turn head to feed 8 silos and truck loading

  • 1 x reclaim drag conveyors 200t/hr

  • 1 x reclaim auger 200t/hr

 

Stage three (future):

  • 1 x 3000t SilOz Grain silo, sealed, Optimum industrial unloading auger

  • Gantry and overhead drag conveyor

  • Transfer auger
